A partner website can take up to 72 hours to confirm the donation. However, it may happen that the donation did not actually take place.
Here is a list of reasons why your donation may have failed:
- A technical problem occurred with one of our partners: our partners use processing systems that are very often outsourced to other companies. It may happen that these systems crash and do not take your donation into account
- I use an ad blocker: if you use an ad blocker, it is very unlikely that your donation will be taken into account. Indeed, ad blockers prevent our partners’ processing systems to launch and take your donation into account. Some internet providers, like Freebox, also have options that block specific advertisements, which may have the same effect as using an ad blocker
- I clicked on an advertisement before activating my donation: if you clicked on an advert before activating your donation, some of our partners will refuse to take the donation into account
What can I do to try and make my donation be recognised?
We have the opportunity to request verification from our partners. To do this, simply send us your email address, name of the merchant, date & order number, so that we can send the claim to our partner.
